Penja White Pepper is from the Penja Valley of Cameroon. Thanks to a naturally rich and balanced volcanic soil, Penja pepper is unique and very tasty. It is grown according to the Penja's ancestral traditions in Cameroon and is greatly appreciated by connoisseurs.
The pepper plant is a creeper that grows on support. When the berries are ripe, they are dried in the sun and become white peppercorns.
Penja White Pepper is delicate and soft. Although it enhances the flavour of all types of meat, it is especially recommended for pork and mild flavoured fish. We suggest to grind and add the Penja White Pepper just before serving.
